This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Board of one of the South West's most respected and impactful charities, helping to shape the future sustainability of a service that delivers critical care and saves lives every day.
For more than 18 years, Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) has provided specialist emergency medical care across Bristol, Bath and North-East Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, North Somerset and parts of Wiltshire. Operating independently of NHS and Government funding, the charity relies on the generosity of supporters, donors, volunteers and partners to keep its lifesaving service operational.
As GWAAC delivers its ambitious 2024-2028 strategy, the Board is seeking a Trustee with significant fundraising expertise who can provide strategic leadership, constructive challenge and guidance to strengthen income generation and long-term resilience.
