Vanessa Moon has over 25 years senior management and board level recruitment experience. She works with a broad portfolio of clients both in the UK and internationally; these range from start-ups, family owned concerns, major banks as well as FTSE Listed businesses. She also has significant experience in the not for profit and charity sectors. She recruits mainly board level roles; covering Non Exec, Chairman, CEO/ MD, FD, Sales, Operations and HR.
Vanessa co-founded Moon Consulting in 2000 perceiving a need for a return to the personal touch in senior level recruitment and is a firm advocate of the company's core values of being distinctive, ethical and approachable in all their undertakings.
Peaches is Independent Chair of the Bristol Water Challenge Panel which represents the interests of water consumers and assures the industry regulator and is a Trustee of the ss Great Britain. Peaches has held a range of non-executive roles in public, private and voluntary sector organisations including Chair of the ITV Viewer Advisory Panel for ITV West Country, Non-Executive Director of Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, a Non-Executive Director of North Bristol Hospital NHS Trust and a Non-Executive Director of GWR West Limited. She was a member of the Ethnic Minority Business Forum, the Home Office representative on the Independent Member Selection Board for Avon & Somerset Police Authority, a Governor of the University of the West of England and a Member of the General Chiropractic Council.
Peaches was awarded an OBE in 2009 for services to minority ethnic people in the South West, an honorary MBA from the University of the West of England in 2010 in recognition of her work in responsible business behaviour in the region and a Doctorate of the University in 2017 for her on-going support of the University and its values. As well as this, the University of Bristol awarded Peaches with an honorary Doctor of Laws in 2018.
SIMON QUINN FIRP
HEAD OF EXECUTIVE SEARCH
Simon is a Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals with over 17 years of experience in the recruitment industry across commercial, financial and the HR sectors.
Simon began his career in recruitment in the mid-1990’s managing high volume requirements for several key accounts in London, including the Metropolitan Police, before joining a specialist global financial recruiter to manage senior finance positions.
Simon relocated back to the South West in 2003, ran his own business and then joined a private healthcare company as their UK Business Development Manager. In 2006, he set up a regional HR division for a national recruitment agency, successfully growing the business before moving in to an Area Manager position to remotely manage several teams.
Simon prides himself on his honest approach to any assignment he undertakes, adding value to the Client search whilst also focusing on the candidate journey.
Other business interests include acting as a Board member for several not for profit organisations, including Babbasa, a Bristol-based social enterprise supporting aspiring young people from disadvantaged communities to pursue their professional ambitions.
SANDY HINKS FIRP

Sandy has over 20 years’ experience in the recruitment industry across IT and Financial sectors, recruiting at management and executive level, working for both large global and small to medium sized independent recruiters.
Sandy began her career in recruitment in the late 1980’s. In 2006 she worked for a direct sales start-up company as Head of Operations that grew in 5 years to a turnover of £24m.
More recently she has been working for a construction/property development family business, as well as running a successful 180 acre organic beef farm which was set up 15 years ago.

Gemma has worked for Moon Executive Search for 6 years and has a wealth of knowledge of business contacts and has built up over these years a network of senior candidates.
Gemma has recently undertaken a number of search campaigns within the energy sector and third sector, recruiting both for management level and trustee roles.
LISA ALCOCK BA (HONS)
Lisa is Moon Consulting’s Marketing Executive and is responsible for all of the marketing activities at Moon, including marketing strategies, social media marketing, website maintenance, E-News and business development.
Lisa enjoys being creative in her role and thrives from keeping up-to-date with local business news.
Her background, spanned across a variety of industries including financial services, manufacturing, health and social care, education, wholesale & supply chain and retail, gives Lisa the ability to quickly adapt to changeable situations.
Lisa is an enthusiastic problem solver with endless motivation for resolving challenges. She is a positive person with a can-do attitude and a proven track record providing an first-class customer experience.
Lisa has a BA (Hons) in Surface Design and Interior Textiles, and out of Moon Consulting hours she runs her lighting company Lumiscopic; specialising in illuminated surfaces and wave-guide lighting.
Abbie has a strong background in commercial customer service, having worked within the healthcare and financial services industries throughout her career.
Highly experienced in working in pressurised environments, Abbie’s outstanding communications skills coupled with her multi-tasking abilities has seen her lead several teams in her previous roles.
Abbie has joined the Moon Consulting team as our Office Administrator where she will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the office, providing executive support to the directors, processing of applications and building strong working relationships.
With extensive SME experience and her DSDM Agile accreditation, Abbie responds well to change and is well-positioned to lead Moon Consulting’s operations whilst ensuring that the recruitment team can deliver superb results for our clients.
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO VANESSA MOON
Chevon has joined Moon Consulting as Executive Assistant to Director Vanessa Moon. Chevon will support Vanessa by helping her make better use of her time.
Acting as first point of contact for Vanessa, Chevon’s responsibilities include organising diaries, scheduling board meetings and appointments, attending meetings and note-taking, and corresponding on behalf of Vanessa. Chevon will also take ownership of research-led and administrative projects. Her role involves the highest level of confidentiality, sensitivity and discretion.
Chevon advocates charity and non-profit work, having volunteered on several high-profile fundraising roles. As well as working for Moon Consulting, Chevon also works as Project Manager for the Lord Mayor’s Gift Gala, an organisation that Moon Consulting has supported for 4 consecutive years. Chevon has an abundance of experience in co-ordinating, planning and administration, with a strong focus on customer service.
Chevon has a background in Dance; she holds a Bachelor in Performance Arts where she specialised in contemporary dance and has performed nationally.
In her spare time, Chevon enjoys creating adventures and spending time with her growing family.
EXECUTIVE SEARCH CONSULTANT
Natasha is an experienced Business Development Manager with over 20 years’ experience in business development, marketing, communications, events and sales. She joins Moon Consulting as Executive Search Consultant to support business growth and provide executive search services.
Natasha specialises in developing client bases, expanding service lines and looking for opportunities to facilitate client introductions. Throughout her career Natasha has developed in-depth knowledge of the real estate, clean energy, public sector, construction, financial services sectors and the executive recruitment market.
Natasha’s multi-faceted background will enable her to develop and nurture strong relationships with all of Moon Consulting clients.
Natasha is also the author of a fantasy fiction series and is currently writing her first romantic comedy. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring Bristol's ever-changing culture and finding new places to eat out, and can often be seen running around Ashton Court with her two dogs seeking inspiration for business development campaigns.
