When the Duchy of Cornwall sought an exceptional leader for a newly created Head of People Operations role, it engaged Moon Executive Search to lead a highly confidential search.
Moon was tasked with identifying a capable and experienced HR professional with the energy and enthusiasm to help develop robust and progressive operations across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring that HR infrastructure, policies, systems and services are fit for a complex, values-driven organisation operating at the intersection of heritage, commercial success and public trust. The confidential search was led by Simon Quinn, Director of Search.
Our approach

The outcome
Following a competitive selection process, Wendy Henderson was appointed as Head of People Operations.
Wendy impressed throughout the process with her combination of operational expertise, transformational leadership experience and values-led approach. Having spent nine years helping shape and strengthen the people function at the Royal Osteoporosis Society before moving into lecturing and mentoring HR professionals, she demonstrated commitment to both professional excellence and continuous development.
