Key information:
- Location: Bristol (hybrid working).
- Salary: £62,000 + benefits.
- Closing date: December 7th 2025.
Are you ready to lead a values-driven organisation that transforms lives?
The Green House provides specialist therapy, nature-based support, and whole-family services to children, young people, and families who have been affected by sexual abuse. The charity’s mission is to help survivors live a life free from trauma and proudly walk alongside them on their healing journey. They work with people of all ages and backgrounds, including many from Bristol's most deprived communities. The Green House’s model is unique in the UK, combining trauma-informed creative arts therapy, family-centred practice, nature-based approaches and survivor-led change.
This is a defining moment in the organisation’s story. Demand for their services is rising, and their voice is shaping national conversations. They are stepping boldly into a new 5-year strategy, End the Silence, to build a world where no child faces trauma alone. This strategy aims to change the systems, narratives and cultures that too often leave young survivors isolated and unheard. The Green House are seeking a CEO who can deliver this vision with kindness and ambition.
As Chief Executive, you will:
Drive the End the Silence strategy, shaping a future where every child is met with understanding, safety and belonging.
Lead with compassion and clarity, nurturing a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive culture grounded in creativity, equity and hope.
Champion survivor voice and co-production, ensuring lived experience informs service design and advocacy.
Build strong partnerships locally and nationally, influencing systems and policy to create lasting change.
Safeguard financial sustainability and governance while deepening impact through innovative, whole-family and nature-based therapeutic approaches.
The CEO will be a strategic thinker with senior leadership experience in trauma-informed, mental health or social care settings. They will be adept at leading through growth and change, drawing on strong organisational management skills, financial acumen and emotional intelligence. Crucially, you will be committed to challenging silence and stigma around abuse, and be a passionate advocate for equity, inclusion and amplifying survivor voices.
