Key information:

  • Hybrid working: between home and the Bristol Office, with some days in the Gloucestershire office

  • Salary range: £60-65k + pension

  • Holiday: 25 Days per annum, rising to 28 (1 additional day per year of service) + bank holidays.

Their services significantly enhance the quality of life for elderly, disabled and vulnerable people by enabling them to safely and comfortably live at home.

Their support services include:

●      Specialist advice on home adaptations and accessible bathrooms.

●      Home improvements and handyperson repair services.

●      Helping individuals return home from hospital by creating a safe environment for recuperation 

WE Care work across the entire west of England region including Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, North Somerset, and Gloucestershire - improving the quality of people’s lives and easing the pressure on hospitals and care services. Their overarching vision is for all homes to be safe, with everyone able to live comfortably for as long as they choose. To help WE Care in this endeavour, they’re seeking a Director of Operations.

The Director of Operations will work alongside the Board and leadership team to ensure the stability and long-term viability of WE Care. Their responsibilities will include developing and implementing commercial and financial strategies, including operational business plans and annual budgets. They will promote and expand the organisation’s services within the health and social care sector - furthering partnerships with the NHS, local authorities and Integrated Care Boards (ICB).

They are searching for a dynamic, influential and visionary leader to drive the business forward and lead the customer-facing operations. The successful candidate will have strong financial, commercial and business development skills, alongside a determination to deliver social impact and value. They will have senior-level leadership experience, preferably in an organisation providing high-quality services across several functional areas. Furthermore, the ideal individual will have experience in strategy implementation and a track record of successfully pursuing new business opportunities.
