We’re delighted to be retained search partners for a leading publishing business in the South West. We are supporting a highly confidential search for a Sales Director.

This is an exciting, hands-on role within a business with a significant geographical reach.  Reporting to the Managing Director, you will bring strategic expertise, helping the business to diversity product range and market penetration.

We are seeking an individual with demonstrable experience within publishing or a closely aligned sector, and a proven track record managing a high-performing sales team. As Sales Director, you will map the market to understand the key players in product categories and develop a business plan covering pricing, products, and market potential.

The ideal candidate is commercially minded with an ability to take full ownership of sales strategy and execution. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future B2B sales direction, work with a talented team, and make a real commercial impact.

You will demonstrate a strategic mindset, evidencing a deep understanding of business and market dynamics, pricing strategy, and financial oversight. As a results-driven individual, you’ll have extensive experience delivering against set targets and driving revenue growth.

NB: This is a role that will require a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement to discuss the specifics of the search criteria with prospective candidates in due course.
