Bristol Accountancy Firm Seeks Audit Senior, Accountant, and Tax Consultant

The client is a rapidly growing accountancy practice based in Bristol City Centre. Their work spans a range of sectors and a wide variety of businesses, from small entities to groups. This progressive company values creating a fun working environment and an amazing professional experience.
They have ambitious plans for expansion over the coming years, as they build and develop long-lasting relationships with new clients. Due to this expansion, they’re seeking an Audit Senior, an Accountant, and a Tax Consultant to join their close-knit team.
Audit Senior
The role of Audit Senior will primarily work independently within the team, managing and undertaking all aspects of audit engagements. They will manage client reporting deadlines and compliance engagements, whilst cooperating with client management teams to resolve problems and recommend business process improvements.
The successful candidate will have an immaculate eye for detail and a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working within audit. They will either have experience across a broad range of industries, or experience with industry-specific accounting practices.
Accountant
They’re seeking an Accountant that can produce high-level client work, including completion of statutory accounts, consolidated accounts, management accounts, tax computation, VAT returns, payroll, and general advice to the client in respect of UK Companies and Partnerships. The Accountant will also identify and implement improved working processes, including new or improved accounting systems for certain clients. Additionally, they will prepare and present budgets, forecasts and cashflows as required.
They’re seeking an experienced individual that loves handling their own client files. Preferably, they would have technical experience in VAT and CIS, and be able to handle a robust workload whilst simultaneously engaging with clients to form strong relationships.
Tax Consultant
The Tax Consultant will be expected to produce high-level client work, including all elements of taxation for compliance and planning. They will provide technical assistance to staff members in all aspects of tax, whilst informing clients of updates to tax legislation and their potential impact. Furthermore, they will analyse various client scenarios to advise the best possible outcome regarding tax structure.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Accountant/Tax Advisor, able to produce full sets of accounts, alongside personal and corporate tax computations. They will be an original thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to gain the confidence of potential clients.
