WE Care Home Improvements is the UK’s largest independent home improvement agency. They provide services which empower people to live independently and comfortably for as long as possible. They’ve earned many accolades during 35+ years of enabling safety and wellbeing, including multiple Home Improvement Agency of the Year awards.
The organisation works across the West of England including Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire. They improve the quality of life for elderly, disabled and vulnerable people, easing the pressure on hospitals and care services.
Moon Executive Search has worked with WE Care for many years, successfully placing several members of their Executive Team. They approached us for assistance finding an Operations Director who could develop their business plan and operational strategies. We were excited to collaborate with them in search of a leader to take them to the next level.
The search campaign was coordinated by Simon Quinn, Moon’s Director of Executive Search. We convened with the Executive Team to review the role requirements and delve into the key priorities. Based on this information, we helped determine a salary range that would attract qualified candidates. We understood the organisation’s culture and values from our previous collaborations. Therefore, our next discussions with the WE Care leadership team focused on their short and long-term objectives - helping us align the search to these goals.
They were seeking a dynamic, influential and visionary leader with strong financial skills. Candidates needed to be skilled in strategy implementation from a senior leadership role, with a proven track record of pursuing new business opportunities. Moreover, this specific set of skills and experience had to be entwined with a determination to deliver social impact and value.
During the screening process, Mr. Van-Tintelen stood out with his extensive background in senior leadership across the charity and and public sectors. His ability to deliver services to the highest possible standard was evident as he prioritises exceeding expectations. Above all, what truly impressed our team was his approach to strategy development and implementation. We're thrilled WE Care shared our assessment and appointed Mr. Van-Tintelen as Operations Director. His skills and experience make him a valuable asset to the organisation.
