Our client, a specialist business in the manufacturing industry, is strengthening their position within technical product markets. As part of these growth plans, they’re seeking a Sales & Marketing Director to work closely with the Managing Director. The role is highly commercial, requiring a strategic thinker who can drive high-value product sales, oversee lead generation and build strong routes to product specification across the UK and global markets.
As Sales & Marketing Director, you will:
Develop and implement strategies that drive revenue growth and optimise brand positioning.
Lead high-value business development efforts, personally securing and managing key client relationships.
Build a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a results-driven and collaborative culture.
Leverage digital marketing, content strategies and CRM platforms to improve lead generation and conversion.
Work closely with the operations, finance and digital transformation teams to shape a cohesive go-to-market strategy.
The successful candidate will be a results-driven individual with extensive experience in B2B sales and marketing. They will have a proven track record utilising strategic thinking, leadership and relationship-building skills to drive revenue growth across diverse markets. As this is a Board-level role, the Sales & Marketing Director will be adept at balancing short-term performance with long-term growth planning, ensuring the business continues to scale effectively. Additionally, they will be skilled at translating complex financial data into actionable insights and demonstrate exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
